You conjure a mass of thick, sticky webbing at a point of your choice within range. The webs fill a 20-foot cube from that point for the Duration. The webs are Difficult Terrain and lightly obscure their area.
If the webs aren't anchored between two solid masses (such as walls or trees) or layered across a floor, wall, or ceiling, the conjured web collapses on itself, and the spell ends at the start of your next turn. Webs layered over a flat surface have a depth of 5 feet.
Each creature that starts its turn in the webs or that enters them during its turn must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the creature is Restrained as long as it remains in the webs or until it breaks free.
A creature Restrained by the webs can use its Actions to make a Strength check against your spell save DC. If it succeeds, it is no longer Restrained.
The webs are flammable. Any 5-foot cube of webs exposed to fire burns away in 1 round, dealing 2d4 fire damage to any creature that starts its turn in the fire.

Sep 11, 2019 Yeah, but there’s some absurdity when you put those things side by side. It’s about Specific Rules beat General Rules (page 7, PHB). The general rule is you can drink something as a “free action”. The specific rule is you need an action to drink a healing potion. — Dan Dillon (@DanDillon1) July 25, 2019. I am thinking about ret-conning the chase and using the actual chase rules - to which DMG page 252 says you get an action and movement, doesn't mention bonus action. Reason - the rogue felt cheated on the skill challenge I came up with (he may not know this). Should cunning action in a chase allow for a dash? Thanks for reading, sorry if it was. We gather your D&D rules questions and occasionally provide official answers to them in the Sage Advice Compendium. As we headed into 2019, I went through the compendium and updated it to reflect the current state. A chase on the water is just a chase between ships (or a ship and sea monster). The chase rules on page 253 of the DMG can be used and work well. Try introducing complications to sea chases, such as those found in the Sea Chase Complications below, which provide complications for a ship’s pilot.
Since it came up in the recent Q&A, and many have been asking, here is my adaptation of the Corruption Rules I used in the Whitestone arc, available for you all for freeeeeeee!https://t.co/lyaRnme1jw

I recall when Percival got his second point, you mentioned that when he went to kill someone, he now went to inflict pain before killing them, but I see no equivalent here. Where would torturous tendencies lie on the chart? I was still early in the process of developing them at the time. I've shifted things slightly as I have a better grasp of the system, and condensed things a bit.

The slow and steady decline of those characters was an absolute pleasure to experience. I’m about to run a Curse of Strahd campaign for a group that hasn’t been spoiled for anything in the setting and this couldn’t have come at a better time for me.Hells yeah!

As someone who suffers from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, I’m surprised to find I’m moderately corrupt and one step away from becoming murderous! 😛 Hahaha! Get on those restoration spells!
